Webpays Payments | Updated October 16, 2026
A forex broker payment gateway has one job that ordinary checkout tools do not: keep deposits and withdrawals flowing across borders, currencies and card schemes without tripping over the industry risk label. For most brokers in 2026, WebPays is the strongest starting point. It’s built for high-risk merchants, it lists forex among its core verticals, and it pairs a PCI DSS-certified, multi-currency gateway with fraud tooling and hosted or API-based checkout.
Below are the five multi-currency payment gateways we’d put on a forex brokers shortlist, why WebPays comes first, and what to verify before you sign with anyone.
Key Takeaways
• A multi-currency payment gateway lets clients pay in their own currency. It does not automatically mean you can settle in that currency, so ask about presentment and settlement separately.
• Forex and CFD businesses are usually classed as high risk, so a high risk payment gateway with real forex underwriting experience matters more than a long currency list.
• Webpays ranks first here because it combines forex-ready underwriting, multi-currency and multi-language checkout, PCI DSS-certified processing and fraud controls in one provider.
• Inquid, Paycly, Boxchrge and Worldpay each fit a narrower need: crypto, a high risk merchant account, payment orchestration, or large-scale global acquiring.
Top 5 Multi-Currency Payment Gateways for Forex Brokers at a Glance
| Rank | Provider | Best for | Multi-currency angle | Confirm before signing |
| 1 | Webpays | Forex and CFD brokers that need a high-risk-ready gateway | Multi-currency, multi-language checkout; cards, local and alternative methods | Settlement currencies, reserve terms, platform integration |
| 2 | Inquid | Brokers adding crypto next to fiat | Crypto and fiat methods; payments requested in a fiat amount | Fiat coverage and which of your jurisdictions allow crypto deposits |
| 3 | Paycly | Brokers shopping for a high-risk merchant account | Multi-currency support, per its own materials | Detailed, independent documentation of routes and currencies |
| 4 | Boxchrge | Brokers that want orchestration and routing control | One API, smart routing, cascading, 3DS2 | Which acquirers and banks sit behind the routes |
| 5 | Worldpay | Large, established brokers needing worldwide acquiring | Wide currency and market coverage, FX products | Whether underwriting accepts your forex or CFD model |
How We Ranked These Providers
We compared each providers public documentation and product pages in October 2026. We haven’t run test transactions with any of them, so treat the ranking as a research-based shortlist, not a lab result.
Seven criteria carried the most weight for forex brokers:
1. Willingness to underwrite forex and CFD businesses
2. Which currencies customers can pay in, and which the broker can settle in
3. Payment method mix: cards, bank rails, wallets, local methods, crypto
4. Fraud, 3-D Secure and chargeback controls
5. API, webhook and reconciliation quality for CRM and MT4/MT5 workflows
6. Fee transparency, including reserves and conversion markups
7. Reporting by country, currency and payment method
A provider that accepts every currency but declines your business model fails the first test, no matter how long its list is.
1. Webpays: Mutli Currency And Forex Broker Payment Gateway
WebPays is a payment service provider focused on high-risk merchants, with forex, iGaming and e-commerce among the industries it names. Its gateway is described as PCI DSS-certified and supports multi-currency and multi-language checkout. Merchants can connect through APIs or hosted payment pages, and WebPays is also available inside the Corefy payment orchestration platform, so brokers already using orchestration can add it without building a new integration from scratch, across nation wide 140+ markets and 130+ currencies, with domestic and cross-border processing connections in 100+ countries.
Why WebPays suits forex brokers
Built for the risk label, not despite it – Many general-purpose gateways treat forex as an exception to be reviewed. WebPays lists forex as a target vertical, which usually means the onboarding questions, documentation and risk rules already reflect how brokers operate.
Multi-currency checkout that matches client behavior – A client in the UK wants to see GBP. A client in the UAE may prefer AED or USD. WebPays supports multi-currency payments, so the deposit page can present the amount in a familiar currency instead of pushing the client toward a card issuer’s exchange rate.
A wider payment method mix – WebPays states that it supports international credit and debit cards, local payment options and alternative methods. For a broker, that spreads deposit volume across several channels so one declined route doesn’t stall funding.
Fraud and monitoring tools in the gateway – Real-time transaction monitoring and fraud prevention are part of the WebPays pitch. For forex, where stolen cards, rapid deposits and mismatched cardholder names are routine worries, that’s a core requirement and not an optional extra.
Clean technical fit – Hosted payment pages keep card entry off your own servers, and API access lets your CRM and back office receive server-side status updates. That second point matters: never credit a trading account because a client landed on a “success” page. Credit it when the gateway’s confirmed notification arrives.
A quick example of why settlement currency matters
This is a hypothetical calculation, not WebPays pricing. Suppose a client deposits 5,000 EUR. If your gateway converts that to USD at a rate carrying a 1.5% markup over the mid-market rate, you’ve given up about 75 EUR before a single processing fee is applied. Settle in EUR instead, and that conversion cost disappears. Multiply it across hundreds of deposits a month and the settlement setup starts to matter more than the headline rate.
Questions to put to WebPays before you sign
WebPays’ public materials describe capabilities, but terms depend on your business. Ask for these in writing:
• The full list of presentment currencies and settlement currencies
• Supported customer countries and acquiring regions
• Reserve, payout and settlement conditions
• How your trading platform integration works, including pending, reversed and duplicate notifications
• Fee schedule covering processing, cross-border, refund and chargeback charges
Best for: forex and CFD brokers that want one high-risk-ready provider handling multi-currency cards, alternative methods and fraud controls.
2. Inquid: Best for Adding Crypto Alongside Fiat
Inquid describes itself as a financial technology company offering an international payment gateway with crypto and fiat payment methods, plus its own crypto processing and a crypto widget. Its developer documentation covers deposits, withdrawals and payouts, webhooks and payment statuses, and it lets a merchant request a crypto payment priced in a fiat amount.
Where it fits: brokers whose clients already want to fund accounts in digital assets and who need AML-aware handling around those deposits.
Keep in mind: the offer leans toward crypto. Brokers whose clients mostly deposit by card or bank transfer should check how deep Inquid’s fiat coverage is. Crypto deposits are also restricted or regulated differently across jurisdictions.
3. PayCly: Best for a High-Risk Merchant Account Search
PayCly positions itself as a high-risk merchant account and payment processing provider, with forex listed among the sectors it serves. Its own materials mention fraud detection and multi-currency support.
Where it fits: brokers who need a merchant account and are comparing several high-risk specialists.
Keep in mind: most of what’s public about PayCly is written by PayCly. Ask for specifics on routes, supported currencies, settlement terms and references from forex clients before treating the claims as confirmed.
4. Boxchrge: Best for Orchestration and Smart Routing
BoxCharge markets a platform that combines a payment gateway and merchant account with orchestration, cross-border connectivity, alternative payment methods, smart routing, cascading and 3DS2. The idea is to retry or redirect a payment through another route when the first one fails.
Where it fits: brokers who care most about approval-rate engineering and want one API in front of several routes.
Keep in mind: routing is only as good as the acquirers behind it. Ask which banks and processors are connected, and whether they accept forex and CFD traffic.
5. Worldpay: Best for Large-Scale Global Acquiring
Worldpay is one of the largest payment companies in the world. Its listing with Mastercard cites coverage across 146 markets and 135 currencies, with domestic and cross-border processing connections in 70 countries. It also offers gateway and acquiring services, fraud prevention, alternative payment methods and FX products.
Where it fits: established, well-capitalized brokers that need broad geographic reach and are comfortable with a conventional underwriting process.
Keep in mind: scale doesn’t guarantee acceptance. Confirm early that Worldpay will underwrite your specific forex or CFD model, jurisdictions and marketing approach. Don’t assume that a provider serving mainstream e-commerce accepts brokers.
What Is a Multi-Currency Payment Gateway?
A payment gateway is the technology that carries payment details between the customer, the merchant, the acquiring bank and the card network, then returns the result. A multi-currency payment gateway does the same thing in more than one transaction currency.
Two separate abilities hide inside that phrase:
• Presentment: the currency the client sees and pays in
• Settlement: the currency the broker actually receives
A gateway can offer dozens of presentment currencies and still settle only in USD or EUR. That may be fine for one broker and expensive for another. This is why the WebPays questions above start with a request for both lists.
Why Forex Brokers Need an International Payment Gateway
Forex clients rarely live where the broker is licensed. An international payment gateway gives them local-feeling ways to pay and gives the broker several routes for moving money.
• Fewer conversion surprises. Clients paying in their own currency avoid extra bank or issuer conversion fees.
• More ways to fund. Cards suit small retail deposits, bank transfers suit larger ones, and wallets or local methods open specific markets.
• Resilience. A broker that depends on one bank or one acquirer is exposed to outages, policy changes and sudden declines. A provider with several payment methods and routes gives you room to adapt, within its terms and the regulations that apply to you.
• Better cash planning. Settling in the currencies you actually spend reduces forced conversions when you pay staff, vendors and client withdrawals.
Why Forex Needs a High Risk Payment Gateway
Acquirers commonly treat forex and CFD merchants as high risk because of chargeback exposure, fraud attempts and regulatory scrutiny. Several providers also note that traditional banks and mainstream processors tend to avoid the sector.
A high risk payment gateway is built for that reality. In practice it means:
• Underwriting that understands brokers, licenses and client onboarding
• Fraud screening tuned to deposit and withdrawal patterns
• Reserve and settlement terms that are negotiated openly
• Dispute tooling to respond to chargebacks quickly
The gateway supports your compliance program. It doesn’t replace customer verification, transaction monitoring or complaint handling.
Features a Forex Payment Gateway Must Have
Use this checklist when comparing WebPays and the alternatives.
Currency clarity – Insist on a written list of presentment currencies, settlement currencies, conversion rules, exchange-rate source and markup, and refund currency.
Local acquiring and routing – Routing a payment through an acquirer close to the cardholder can improve acceptance in some markets. Ask how routing decisions are made and whether the provider can explain individual declines. Treat any approval-rate promise as a claim to verify in reporting, not a guarantee.
Platform and CRM integration – Look for API access, server-to-server notifications, deposit and withdrawal status updates, refund handling, duplicate-payment protection, transaction references, reconciliation exports and role-based back-office access. For MT4 or MT5, confirm the exact integration method.
Fraud and chargeback controls – Useful tools include 3-D Secure, device and IP checks, velocity limits, cardholder-name comparison, risk scoring, blocklists, chargeback alerts and case management.
Payment data security – The PCI Security Standards Council describes PCI DSS as a baseline of technical and operational requirements for protecting payment account data. Ask who hosts the payment page and tokenizes cards, and confirm your own responsibilities rather than assuming a gateway removes them.
Reporting – Finance teams need gross volume, net settlement, processing and conversion fees, refunds, chargebacks, failed and pending payments, plus performance by country, currency and payment method.
Payment Methods to Offer Forex Clients
| Method | Typical use | Main consideration |
| Credit and debit cards | Fast retail deposits | Chargebacks, authentication, issuer declines |
| Bank transfers | Larger deposits, professional clients | Reconciliation time, bank instructions |
| Instant bank payments | Quick local funding | Country coverage, limits |
| E-wallets | Convenient deposits and withdrawals | Provider rules, customer verification |
| Local payment methods | Regional growth | Availability and settlement support |
| Crypto and stablecoins | Digital-asset funding | Wallet screening, network choice, legal treatment |
Don’t add a method just because it’s available. Check ownership verification, refund and withdrawal handling, fraud exposure, fees and local rules for each one.
How to Compare Total Cost
The advertised rate is one line on a long invoice. Request a written fee schedule that covers every item below.
| Cost item | Ask |
| Processing fee | Percentage, fixed amount, or both? |
| Cross-border fee | Does it change with the cardholder’s country? |
| Currency conversion | Which rate, and what markup? |
| Payment-method fees | Are wallets, bank transfers and crypto priced separately? |
| Refunds | Is a fee kept when the original payment is returned? |
| Chargebacks | What’s charged per dispute and per representment? |
| Platform fee | Is there a monthly or API charge? |
| Reserve | Is a rolling reserve or delayed settlement required? |
| Minimums | Is there a monthly minimum or volume threshold? |
A slightly higher processing fee can still be the cheaper deal if the provider brings better local coverage, stronger risk tools or steadier settlement.
Crypto Payments and Stablecoins for Brokers
Crypto adds a funding channel, along with new work: wallet screening, blockchain monitoring, network selection and conversion. The Financial Action Task Force says virtual-asset activity should be subject to risk-based anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing measures, and its guidance covers stablecoins, licensing, peer-to-peer transactions and the travel rule.
Before switching crypto on, ask your provider:
• Which assets and networks are supported?
• Are wallets screened before funds are credited?
• Can you settle in fiat?
• What happens when a client sends funds on the wrong network?
• Are third-party wallets allowed?
• Are crypto payments permitted in your target jurisdictions?
Treat crypto as a compliance and operations project. A checkout button is the smallest part of it. If crypto is central to your plan, Inquid’s crypto-focused gateway is worth reviewing alongside WebPays.
How to Choose: A Six-Step Process
1. Define your markets. List client countries, transaction currencies, average deposit size, withdrawal volume and preferred methods.
2. Split must-haves from nice-to-haves. Multi-currency settlement and MT5 integration may be essential. One particular wallet may not be.
3. Check eligibility. Confirm in writing that the provider accepts your license, products, jurisdictions and marketing.
4. Test the workflow. Run deposits, refunds, failed payments, duplicate notifications, pending statuses, withdrawals and reconciliation. One successful demo payment proves very little.
5. Read the agreement. Focus on reserves, settlement delays, prohibited activities, termination clauses and data responsibilities.
6. Measure after launch. Track authorization rate, deposit completion, withdrawal time, dispute rate, fraud rate, fees and support response by country, currency and method.
FAQ
What is the best multi-currency payment gateway for a forex broker?
WebPays is our top pick because it combines forex-ready underwriting, multi-currency and multi-language checkout, PCI DSS-certified processing and fraud tooling. The right choice still depends on your markets, license and settlement needs.
Does a multi-currency payment gateway include multi-currency settlement?
Not always. Presentment and settlement are separate capabilities. Ask any provider, WebPays included, to list both.
Why is forex considered high risk for payments?
Because of chargeback exposure, fraud attempts and regulatory scrutiny. That’s why brokers usually need a high risk payment gateway instead of a standard e-commerce one.
Can I accept crypto and card deposits through the same provider?
Some providers support both, and others specialize in one. Inquid is crypto-led, while WebPays focuses on cards, local and alternative methods. Check which assets, networks and countries each one covers.
What should I test before going live?
Deposits, refunds, failed and duplicate payments, pending statuses, withdrawals and reconciliation exports. Server-side confirmation should be the only trigger for crediting an account.
Conclusion
The best multi-currency payment gateway for a forex broker is the one that accepts your business, supports the currencies your clients and treasury actually use, and gives you the controls to manage fraud and settlement. WebPays leads this list because it covers those needs in a single high-risk-ready provider. Inquid, PayCly, BoxCharge and Worldpay are credible options when your priorities lean toward crypto, a merchant account, orchestration or sheer global scale.
Whichever way you lean, get the currency lists, fee schedule, reserve terms and integration details in writing, then run a real test before you commit.
